Aboutme

About Me

My path into psychotherapy has been shaped by a wide range of experiences in both academia and practice. After earning a diploma and master’s degree in Political Science at the Bavarian School of Public Policy in Munich, I followed my long-standing passion for psychology, movement, and human development. Over the years, I have combined professional training in psychotherapy with a strong background in sports, dance, and body–mind work.

I hold certification and permission to practice as a non-medical practitioner of psychotherapy, granted by the Munich Health Department. My therapeutic training includes:

  • Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Therapy (ZfN Munich)

  • Hypnotherapy (Int. NLP)

  • Nonviolent Communication

  • Sexual Therapy

  • Mental Health in Competitive Sports

I am a member of the VFP – Association of Freelance Psychotherapists as well as an extraordinary member of the German Society for Sports Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.

Alongside my psychotherapeutic work, I bring many years of experience in the fields of movement and body awareness: as a trained dancer and dance teacher, WoYo and BodyBalance trainer, and through various further trainings in fitness, group instruction, and personal training. This diverse foundation enables me to view human development holistically and to integrate the body–mind connection naturally into my therapeutic approach.

Therapeutic Work

Therapeutic Approach

In my therapeutic work, I focus on the underlying causes of behavior, patterns, and emotions. I see my role as providing a supportive, attentive, and appreciative space in which the therapeutic process can unfold. Together, we work to foster new insights, rediscover inner resources, and create greater balance in life.

Body–Mind Connection

Through my years of sporting activity, I have developed a deep understanding of the close interconnection between body and mind. On request, I integrate this perspective into therapy—for example, through therapeutic walks, whether by Lake Starnberg, on a beach in Denmark, in the woods, or in the Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca.
Therapy in nature strengthens health in two ways: physically and, above all, mentally. Walking makes it easier to share thoughts than sitting indoors, while movement in natural surroundings calms the soul, reduces stress, and helps you reconnect with your own strength and resources. During these walks, I listen carefully and support you in finding new perspectives and clarity. Walking itself can be a therapeutic process that eases anxiety, stress, and depression.

Purpose and Vision

My purpose is to work with you in strengthening your mental well-being. Whether you are facing specific challenges or simply searching for more balance and satisfaction in life, I am here to support you. My professional background in both sports and management has shown me that a fulfilled life arises from the alignment of body and mind.

Like many others, the Corona pandemic marked a turning point for me—a moment that led me to dedicate myself fully to the field of psychology. After completing my training in clinical psychology and behavioral therapy at ZfN Munich, I passed the examination as a non-medical practitioner in psychotherapy.

Therapeutic Goal

The central goal of my work is to bring back the experience of original joy, freedom, and well-being into your everyday life. To achieve this, I draw on a broad spectrum of therapeutic tools. I see my role as supporting holistic human growth—helping people find a home within themselves and contributing to the release of pain and suffering.

In practice, I work with the challenges you bring—whether painful emotions, recurring thought patterns, or physical tension. My approach combines behavioral therapy with systemic elements and is always tailored to your individual needs.
