Welcome
Psychotherapy offers support during difficult times in life and provides a way forward when life feels painful or without direction.
There are many reasons why people seek therapy. Some struggle with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, stress, feelings of inferiority, shyness, or bullying. Others may be processing traumatic experiences, going through a crisis, or simply looking for guidance to move forward.
At the same time, psychotherapy is not only for moments of crisis. Many people use it as a space for personal or professional growth, self-reflection, and a deeper understanding of themselves. While most sessions take place individually, couples and families can also benefit from therapy, receiving tools to strengthen communication, resilience, and connection.
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a form of mental health treatment that involves open and confidential conversations with a trained therapist about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
The goal is to help you better understand and manage your emotions, overcome obstacles, and improve your overall well-being. Psychotherapy can address a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and trauma. It can take place in individual or group settings and may draw on different therapeutic approaches.
Therapy provides a safe, supportive environment where you can work through challenges and develop greater self-awareness, strength, and fulfillment.
The duration of therapy varies: some people benefit from just a few sessions, while others require a longer process. The pace of progress also differs—what matters most is your individual situation, needs, and goals.
The therapeutic work
I draw on methods from cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. In my work, I focus on the deeper layers behind behavior, patterns, and emotions. I see my role as providing a supportive, attentive, and appreciative space where your process can unfold.
My aim is to help you gain new insights, integrate (or rediscover) inner strengths, and create more balance within yourself and in your life.
